At the age of 14 when he started climbing and mountaineering, Pete got hooked on the great outdoors. This led to the other love of his life: travelling. He knew he wanted to combine these two passions into a career, so studied Outdoor Education at college followed by Outdoor Leadership at university.
He then worked as a multi-activity outdoor instructor on bucket-list worthy overseas expeditions in Africa and South America to the peaks of the Himalayas. 20 years of experience later (working in outdoor education and adventurous settings), he is now a seasoned expert and uses his knowledge and experience to direct not one, but two companies (NY3P and North East Outdoor Adventures). His people skills are not bad either!
